08/28/2012 - Cheryl Wilson-Smith has become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania

9/15/2011 - Cheryl Wilson-Smith has added Prolonged Exposure to her scope of practice.  This technique has a strong research base for use with clients of all ages who are experiencing PTSD as a result of trauma.

7/5/2011 - Efforts are underway to form the Lancaster Consortium of Evidence-Based Clinical services.  Certification standards for membership are located on the "Consortium" page.

6/21/2011 - A community educational seminar is scheduled for August 1, 2011.  The title of the presentation is "Parenting in the Electronic Age".  Contact Cheryl Wilson -Smith at 717-394-3994 for more information.

6/1/2011 - Advanced Counseling and Research Services celebrates its first year of service to the Lancaster Community.

8/11/2010 - Cheryl Wilson-Smith has successfully organized the Pennsylvania Association of Child and Adolescent Counselors, a division of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association.  She has been named the Charter President of this organization.

8/11/2010 - Cheryl Wilson-Smith has been awarded the designation of Board Eligible National Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors.
