Hello, my name is Jason Houghton. I am a family medicine CRNP living in Spring Grove, PA.
I reside with my four children and my wife of 21 years. I have been involved in healthcare since the early 1990s.
I served as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy until 2000. Prior to becoming a registered nurse, I worked as a paramedic for several years.
My experience includes working in trauma and surgical units at Hershey Medical Center and WellSpan Health. I have also done home health community nursing in between my ICU nursing roles.
I graduated with a BSN from Messiah University and earned my MSN from Duquesne University. I have been working as a Nurse Practitioner in the urgent care setting for nearly four years.
Currently, I am attending Johns Hopkins University, working toward my psych/mental health Nurse Practitioner education and licensure.
I bring a wide range of healthcare experience and look forward to providing our community members with behavioral health services in the near future.
