CLINICAL SUPERVISION (LPC)
The clinical staff at Advanced Counseling and Research Services is committed to advancing the professional counseling discipline. One way to accomplish this is to provide clinical supervision for individuals seeking licensure as a professional counselor in Pennsylvania. The clinical supervision experience will focus on counseling skills development, legal and ethical issues, exposure to current local, state, and national trends facing professional counselors today, evidence-based therapy, and best practices.
In most cases, clinical supervision will be provided to individuals who have already completed the graduate coursework required for licensure but may find themselves in a work environment that cannot provide the supervised clinical experience required by law. Our clinical staff will coordinate supervisory activities with counseling agency personnel and develop appropriate contracts and letters of understanding.
Advanced Counseling and Research Services provides educational services to the public. Some of these are 90-minute presentations designed to provide an overview of certain issues we feel are pertinent to the general public.
